A line of a [[map projection]] on which [[angular distortion]] is zero. On a conformal line [[Tissot's indicatrix]] are circles. All [[standard line]]s, as well as all lines in a [[conformal projection]], are conformal lines. Standard lines have the additional property of being [[equidistant]].
