central meridian

n. The globe can be rotated on its axis before projecting. The central meridian is the meridian rotated into the position of the original prime meridian.

中央経線

【ちゅう・おう・けい・せん】名　投影法を展開する前、地球儀を軸を中心に回転させることが出来る。回転の作業によって元本初子牛線だった位置まで来た経線のことを「中央経線」という。
