Guided Tour to Medvednica Mountain
Medvednica is a mountain in central Croatia, just north of Zagreb, and marking the southern border of the historic region of Zagorje. The highest peak, at 1,035 m is Sljeme. Most of the area of Medvednica is a nature park (park prirode). During Miocene and Pliocene, the mountain was an island within the Pannonian Sea.The departure of the tour is on Saturday, September 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. in front of the starting station of the cable car. On Sljeme, at the top of Medvednica, we will see the trigonometer and the viewpoint. Lunch awaits us at the Tomislavov dom hotel at 1 pm. Return to the city in the afternoon.
